Kinah L. Burks didn’t set out to be the loudest voice in the room, although her voice does carry—she became the quiet power behind meaningful momentum. As her work grew, she noticed a pattern: people found clarity fastest when they were paired with the right resource at the right time—with context, care, and a clear next step. Kinah had a knack for it. What began as helpful introductions became her signature: warm handoffs that lead to real progress.

Today, Kinah Connects™ — The Resource-naire™ turns vision into outcomes through two gifts Kinah honed over years in leadership and community: sharp discernment and simple execution. She can read a moment and know whether it needs an instant meet-up to unlock chemistry—or a few coaching tips so a connection lands well. Then she installs the follow-through: a 90-day Momentum Map, a 14-day Action Plan, or a team Lab that makes collaboration stick.

Making an impact

One example of how Kinah Connects™ has made a positive impact is through partnering with a client who had a vision: to gather people around food and conversation that could spark genuine connection. She wanted to create more than a meal—she wanted a movement.

Her challenge was clarity. She had the vision, but she didn’t know who belonged on her team or how to bring the right people to the table. Kinah Connects™ helped her identify key partners, bridge relationships, and design a strategy that aligned her passion with the right support system.

That collaboration grew into what is now The Artist Table—a chef residency program in downtown Memphis that combines food, dialogue, and artistry to create a vibrant cultural experience. Through this project, she not only built authentic connections but also leveraged collaboration to expand her influence and opportunities.
